Joe started hunting as a teen. His quarry included whitetail deer and small game. After High School he enlisted in the US Navy and served as a Seabee.   His service ended in 1996 and was then able to start hunting again. That’s when his true passion began, an undying love for hunting the wild turkey. His passion also extends into devoted practice of the vocabulary of the wild turkey. This has spanned over a period of 20 years. Joe loves to share his passion of turkey hunting with his children Patrick, and Abigail, along with anyone that would want to hit the woods with him.  He has harvested turkeys in Indiana, Kentucky and Kansas.  In 2006 he started competing in turkey calling competitions and has placed in numerous contests in Indiana and Ohio. Additionally, he has judged numerous calling contests including the Grand Nationals. He resides in Edinburgh, IN with his wife Tracy and two children Patrick and Abigail. His go to calls are the Vision Crystal and the Yellow Venom mouth call.
