Mike Pentecost from Heflin, AL, is the Founder and Owner of WoodHaven Custom Calls. WoodHaven was built from Mike’s burning desire to be the best turkey hunter he could be! The woods were his classroom. Mother nature and the wild turkeys were his best teachers! Full of ideas and a hobby, what had started back in the late 1980’s in his grandparents’ basement as a dream, was about to become an incorporated business entering into the game call industry. Nearly 25 years ago, the first line in Mike’s business plan was “to build the very best turkey calls, period”. Mike wanted top of the line in every facet of the company.

The result of such passion lead to the development of calls such as the “Red Wasp” and the “Cherry Classic Crystal” , as well as many other great products that have helped hunters nationwide to be successful! Mike knew he could build great products, put them into a nice package, and deliver them to his customers, with superior customer service. Superior products and great customer service is what has become known as the “WoodHaven Way”!

Romans 8:28 states “and we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose”. Mike’s heart has always led him to believe that WoodHaven is part of His purpose in this life. Pentecost stated, “I pray to always have the faith and courage to continue following the Lord in His desires for my life and the future of WoodHaven.
