   While owning several box calls from various makers I LOVE my Woodhaven Cherry Real Hen the best. Has the most realistic yelps of ANY call I have ever run. Wouldn’t go to the woods without it!!

   I’ve been chasing gobblers for 36 years and have tried about every call company out there. Wood haven is by far the best! This box call sounds so good it should have feathers! I own a lot of Woodhaven calls because they flat out sound great.

   I love my Cherry Real Hen box call so much that I bought a second one in the event I break or lose one! The high, raspy pitch is consistent in tone, and the call is extremely easy to play. It will really dial long distance on windy days. I’ve harvested several longbeards with this call. It does it all. I write an outdoor hunting and fishing newspaper column and have given this call a big thumbs up in more than one article. And, no, I have not been paid to endorse Woodhaven products. My endorsements come from my experiences afield. You can’t go wrong with Woodhaven products!

   People talk trash on the box call in general, but this beautiful call fooled a big ole Tom into walking within 10 yds of my shotgun this spring. The call sounds realistic and the craftsmanship is top notch. Worth every penny!

   This box call is a “head turner”! The authentic hen sounds that this call is capable of is amazing! It sounds so good that the hens might just want to start mimicking you!!

    The Cherry Real Hen box call, along with the other couple of Woodhaven calls I’ve used, is as good as they get.
    Yes, we can buy box calls that are around $19.99 to $39.99 and they’ll do ok and might last a whole season, unless they’re really hunted with and used in all weather.
    This particular call is extremely easy to use, especially for beginners (and experienced hunters). I always look for very good calls to recommend to my young hunters I take every season. I usually give them a much less expensive box, but when they hear the Woodhaven box or slate, even they know the difference.
    Yes, these calls are very expensive, but like turkey shells, you gotta have’em to hunt’em.
    Sportsman’s Warehouse in Wilmington, NC, has this call on sale right now (15 May, 2022) for around $64 plus tax.
    You can’t beat that!
