Kevin grew up loving the outdoors, his father introduced him to fishing and shooting at a young age and he has been ever since. He started small game hunting at 13 and was introduced to deer hunting at 16. Hunting became a passion for him and if it was in season he wanted to hunt it or catch it. Turkey hunting interested him in high school but it wasn’t until he met and became friends with a successful young competition caller and turkey hunter that shared some of his knowledge, that set him on the path he is on today. Hunting is his passion but Turkey hunting is at the top of his list. Kevin has worked as a hunting guide, he has assisted in guiding youth hunters for the South Carolina DNR take one make one program. He has been a pro staffer for Woodhaven since 2010. And his favorite calls are the Yellow venom, Vintage hen, cherry Real Hen, and the Cluck and Purr pot.
