Kevin began turkey hunting when he was 16 harvesting his first bird that very season. It didn’t take him long to realize that he would come to love the challenge of outsmarting old gobblers and become obsessed with it. Growing up his father wasn’t an avid outdoorsman but thanks to his friends they introduced him to the sport of pursuing Mother Nature’s finest. He has been part of a few call companies over the years and he has ventured from Kansas to Texas and all over the south chasing turkeys. He also is an avid whitetail hunter having successfully harvested several mature whitetails. But his true passion is matching wits with Mr. Long beard and outsmarting him. His newest venture is becoming part owner of a retail hunting store specializing in archery. A certified NASP instructor, nothing he enjoys more than helping today’s youth learn to shoot and hunt and enjoy the challenges and reward of being outdoors. They are the future of our sport.
